2017 Lenten Mission

Father Lee Havey, CP, a priest of the Passionist order, will preach the mission as our spiritual moderator. Father Lee is currently assigned to retreat house ministry at the Bishop Molloy Passionist Retreat House, while he continues to lead parish missions and retreats domestically and internationally. Welcome, Father!

Monday ~ Fr. Lee will preach at 11 a.m. Mass
Confession after 11 a.m. Mass
Mission Sermon at 7 p.m. (no Mass)

Tuesday ~ Fr. Lee will preach at 11 a.m. Mass
Confession after 11 a.m. Mass
Mission Sermon at 7 p.m. (no Mass)
Reconciliation and Confession with many priests after the 7 p.m. Sermon

Wednesday ~ Fr. Lee will preach at 11 a.m. Mass
Confession after 11 a.m. Mass
Closing Mass and Mission Sermon at 7 p.m.

Lenten Schedule

Daily Mass: 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Wednesdays: Novena after morning/evening Masses
Wednesdays: Men’s Rosary Cenacle at 7:30 p.m.
Mondays: Women’s Rosary Cenacle at 9:30 a.m.
Fridays: Stations of the Cross at 12 noon
First Fridays: Holy Hour and Morning Prayer
Parish Mission: March 26 to 29

All Catholics age 14 and older, as a minimal obligation, are bound to abstain from eating meat on all the Fridays of Lent. In addition, all Catholics ages 18 to 59 are bound to fast and abstain on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.
