Next Sunday, May 1, the children of our Parish will be receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion at the 9 a.m. Mass. The Mass will feature a Folk Choir, geared to young people’s tastes. If you are uncomfortable with this particular music, the 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Masses will feature more traditional music. Thank you.
Mothers, alive or dead, deserve our utmost praise and thanks. Mother’s Day, May 8, gives us the opportunity to pray for our mothers, grandmothers, godmothers and stepmothers, the women who have nurtured, taught and believed in us.
Should you wish to remember your mother at Mass, please use one of the envelopes in the pews or at the Church doors. Her name will be placed on the altar that day.
Light Weigh One King is starting up again on Wednesday, May 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Our group enjoyed the 12-week series so much that we decided to go for another round, and we would love for others to join us for the journey.
