Our Monsignor Frederick Brice was a man of Faith, great Faith manifested in his love for God and his people. He died as he lived – in a hurry; he didn’t want to be a burden on anyone.
He has left a legacy and an example of caring and service for all of us to emulate; the bar is set quite high. Thanks to all of our parishioners who rallied at his death to provide hospitality, food and welcome to all our visitors. Your presence in such numbers at his vigil, wake and Mass are an indication of the esteem in which he was held by all.
May his noble soul rest in peace, and “with Lazarus who is poor no longer, may he have eternal rest.” The words of Hamlet about his father are apropos: “He was a man; take him for, all in all, we shall not look upon his like again.”
Landetur Jesus Christus.
